Camera mania

The number of Kodak DC265 cameras at the Schmooze was absurd. At our lunch
at the Cap City dinner, we had only four cameras in evidence out of the
seven people -- Dan left his behind, or it would have been five. The
waitress was bewildered.
Gary mugs for Rosemary's camera, while Dan snaps a shot of Eric snapping
this shot.
Gary takes a picture of Dan entering his room.
Rosemary takes the same picture on her camera, getting Gary's picture-taking
hand into her picture.
Eric takes a picture of them both.
Rosemary takes a picture of Gary watching the spud gun. There's Dan in
the background, snapping a picture himself!

Meanwhile, Eric stands back and gets the picture of them both.
Eric is the runaway champion fanatic, having taken over 12000 pictures since
buying his DC260 a little over a year ago (and trading up to a DC265 in May).
Kodak would have been justified paying Eric's trip expenses to last year's
Schmooze!
He has gotten pretty good at aiming the camera at arm's length, allowing
much more flexibility in camera angles.
If you do not yet have a digital camera, you will be assimilated. Resistance
is futile.
